Who We Are
4Ever Unified is an annual community-building event that promotes camaraderie between law enforcement and the citizens they serve. Since its inception, 4Ever Unified has strived to cultivate lasting, meaningful relationships with residents and enhance confidence in police thru youth and families.
Our Goal
Our goal is to present an activity that supports our theme to protect and serve and to foster bonding with communities and residents living in our jurisdiction. Ethic is part of our direction as we interact with residents and demonstrate police caring, understanding and trust. Â Integrity will be exhibited as officers who walk among citizens each day will offer assistance, provide guidance, demonstrate caring and trustworthiness. Teamwork will be exhibited through efforts whereas each sponsor in attendance will show community involvement with police support being obvious through various means: Â interaction with residents and youth, working to build games and activities, and as we strive to enhance our police image through professional behavior and caring the image of police will be elevated.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an atmosphere that allows us to build trust and bond in a greater way with children, youth and families. Living in times of uncertainty when children ask about the relationship between police and residents. As Dr. W.E.B. DuBois said, "One can do a lot, two can do much more", and this school of thought will allow the department and each officer to focus on working collectively with customers and maintaining a quality customer mentality.  Passion includes competence, caring and a true demonstration of compassion. We extend our best feet and an olive branch so community members will see our true desire to work with everyone not because rules and regulations dictate what we should do in the performance of duties, but also because we consider ourselves as competent caring officers with a heart for serving to the best of our abilities.
Our Drive
Our drive are the children, the elderly the community members who realize that we are strong together and as one we can accomplish many things while also creating a positive image whereas trust is an integral part of the community we live in. We are trying to reach all areas because we know there are no borders between families and jurisdictions within our region. Our desire to reach out to the Clinton residence and surrounding areas as we advertise this yearly key event, to show unity, and demonstrate caring for those we serve. The community is watching and hoping for compassion at all levels, community service and county leadership, this event will demonstrate our ability to not only enhance our community image but to lead by example as we build an exemplary image for everyone to see.
About Us
4Ever Unified, Inc. formally known as PGPD We Are One was just a simple thought, a wish, a dream because years back, two individuals saw an image that illustrated a need to foster greater relationships between people and police and decided to do something about it. Operating on the principle of "see something, say something", they conceived the idea, presented it to leadership and everyone saw the heightened worth of such a program. Today, we have been offering this yearly event for the past four years and each time it has received rave reviews from officers and citizens; the youth especially benefit from seeing police interact with compassion and caring thus creating an atmosphere of trust at a time when countless national issues have tarnished police citizen relationships on a national scale. We came about to show confidence and pride in Prince George's County and the event has contributed immeasurably to doing this.
